Minimal wait to order. I got the Original 7" with curly fries. It took longer than you would think to get my food based on the light crowd. Bun was no longer warm and some of the fries were overdone. My biggest complaint was very stingy with the meat and cheese. Especially for the price $10.15. I'll likely give them another chance sometime in the future.

I am livid!!! I just placed an order through Yelp and my credit card payment was accepted and the money taken out of my account for the order. Only to find out that the restaurant is closed when my husband went there to pick up the damn food!!!! I want to know how I'm supposed to get my refund!! If the restaurant was closed why would it allow me to place an order and take my payment!

Okay. I just ordered from Philly connection, and I expected more than I got. Its not a bad sandwich but it isnt a great one either. We ordered the Pizza Steak and Southwestern sandwhiches with a slice of NY style cheese cake. The cheese cake is packaged. I feel like I could accomplish the same thing with ground beef and a baguette. I might try the chicken sometime because I really want to love something from this place considering theyre and sandwhich shop that delivers. How cool is that?

For a chain restaurant, this Philly cheesesteak was delicious!! My husband and I both ordered a Philly with only cheese and jalapeños. He ordered the white American cheese with pepper jack and I ordered the provolone with pepper jack. Both were amazing, but I will say mine had more of a string cheese consistency and my husbands had more of a shredded cheese, flavor on every piece of steak consistency. I am a fan of the string cheese, so I liked mine the way it was, but if you want more of a strong cheese flavor, I would recommend going with the white American cheese. The bread was chewy and complimented the steak very well and they definitely don't skimp on portions. I ordered the 7 inch and my husband ordered the 10 inch and they were both loaded with steak and jalapeños. The service was excellent! The staff was friendly and took their time taking our order, but then delivered it promptly. My daughter had the chicken fingers and fries, nothing to write home about. The Philly cheesesteaks are definitely the way to go hence the name. We will be returning when we get the urge for a Philly cheesesteak!

Not terrible, no but not really that good either. The original Philly lacked flavor and the chicken philly, while more flavorful, tasted like the chicken had been precooked and defrosted in the microwave. I've had much, much better Philly cheesesteak sandwiches. Fries were good! My husband loved it, so don't think everyone will dislike it as much as me.

This location is under new management and it's definitely changed! The sandwiches are great, fries are awesome and the wings are some of the best in town. They now offer delivery in the Birmingham area which is nice in about a 5-6 mile radius I believe. Worth checking out

Tried Philly Connection last weekend thanks to the influence of a handy-dandy coupon book and a coupon for a BOGO sandwich deal. Great little place! I'm sure some future-reviewing, all-knowing connoisseur will go into how the steaks here aren't your traditional Philadelphia cheesesteaks due to the blah blah blah and the conspicuously-absent yackety-schmackety, so I won't waste any time with that, b/c I don't care and you probably don't either. I tried a 7" customized pepperoni pizza steak, and it was absolutely delicious. Just the right amount of everything in it blended well. My only complaint would be against myself and the fact that I *only* got the 7", or that I only got one sandwich. The food tastes great, the staff members (at least during my experience) were uber-friendly, the place was almost pristine (including the outside patio - critter-free), and the location is convenient. My reviews are usually pretty long-winded, but it's totally not necessary in this case - me and anyone lucky enough to be a prisoner in my car *will* be heading back here sooner than later. Gotta get that next fix - fantastic stuff!
